All upcoming video game releases in August 2019

August is finally here, and it looks like it will be a great month for the upcoming video game releases. We got some awesome games coming out this month, and even more great games coming out this fall. Below is a list of all the confirmed games to be released in August 2019. How to make your sim angry in The Sims 4

Your sims can feel a variety of feelings, including feeling angry. There are some points in the game where you might want to make your sim angry, such as when you are progression in the acting career and need to be angry in order to practise for parts. It's actually a bit easier if you want to do it for the acting career than if you do it for any other purpose, so see below for an extra tip for getting your sim to practise being angry for your acting career.

How to get your sim angry in The Sims 4

The problem a lot of people face is that their sim is really well-balanced, and it's not really easy to get them to become angry at all. One method that might work is to get into a fight with other sims. Just talk with them, insult them, and keep being mean to them. Some of them will fight you back, and you will eventually become angry.

While this works for some, certain sims have traits and stuff like that which prevents other sims from really being able to become angry at them. So, the next step is to influence your sim's mood. Go to build mode and find painting. You will soon see that a lot of paintings have the ability to put your sim in an angry mood, so decorate a room with several of these.

In addition to getting the angry paintings, make sure to get rid of any positive moodlets you might have. If you eat good food, work out, do laundry etc. you will get a moodlet that makes your sim feel better, and you will need to get rid of all of these when you want to make a well-balanced sim angry. Luckily they all disappear after a while, so don't renew them by eating good food again etc.

When all the positive moodlets are gone, head into the room with the angry paintings, and your sim will eventually get angry just by being there. And that's it; you now know how to make your sim angry in The Sims 4. Enjoy getting your sim angry whenever you want it.

Get angry more easily for your acting career

If you just need to get angry to progress your acting career, there is a much easier method than the one above. Just click on your sim and select "Practise acting", and you will be able to choosing to practise angry acting. This is so much easier than getting your sim angry for real, and you get it done very quickly.

How to save in Wolfenstein Youngblood

Wolfenstein Youngblood made a lot of changes to the Wolfenstein series, and while some of it is still familiar, there are so many new elements. A lot of players have been confused as to how exactly they save the game in Wolfenstein Youngblood, so here's how it is done.

To save your game in Wolfenstein Youngblood, do any objective to trigger the auto save feature. There is no way to manually save the game, so you have to rely 100 % on the autosaves. These are saving fairly often though, so it's unlikely that you will lose a lot of progress if you shut down the game.

In order to trigger an auto save, complete any objective in the main quest line, or in any side quests. When this happens, you will see a cassette animation which symbolizes the autosave.

The only exception is when you are currently on a side mission and die. If that happens, you will be reloaded to the beginning of the quest instead of the previous autosave point. So it might be worth restarting your console or game if you die very far into a side quest.

And that's everything there is to know about saving your game in Wolfenstein Youngblood. It's a bit of a hassle to not have access to manual save files, but the game saves so regularly that it's not really a problem at all.

Forager development roadmap

Forager is out for both PC, Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4, and even though the game is in a good state, the developers are still working on creating new content for it. So far they have released a roadmap that goes until winter 2019/20, and we are unsure if they have any plans after that.

How to become a mermaid in The Sims 4: Island Living

Mermaids are a completely new feature in the latest The Sims 4 expansion pack called The Sims 4: Island Living. You can encounter these when you are underwater, but it's also possible to play as a mermaid, either by making a new sim that is already a mermaid, or turning your own sim into a mermaid.

Mermaids are not 100 % tied to water, and they can come up on land any time they want to. When this happen, their fins will turn into regular legs with a scaley appearance. They must be regularly hydrated though, so you must shower, drink water, go for a swim and stuff like that pretty regularly.

So, how do you become a mermaid in The Sims 4? The only way to do this is by eating an item called Mermadic Kelp. This item can be eaten by a sim, which gives you a moodlet. Once you have this moodley, go into water to be permanently turned into a mermaid sim. The moodlet will disappear after 24 hours, so make sure you hit the ocean before this happens, or else you will need to get a new Mermadic Kelp.

The next question is obviously, how do you get Mermdaic Kelp? This item has a few different sources, including the following:

- Buy it from the Rewards Store for 500 Satisfaction Points. This will grant you a single Mermadic Kelp that can be used by any sim you control.
- Search in the cave on Mua Pel'am. This cave will have a single Mermadic Kelp hidden in it.
- Get it from dolphins that retrieved it. This is a random item that can be gotten when you retrieve items from dolphins, so it's a nice way to get many of them if you have the patience for it.
- Get it from fishing. This is also random, but you can fish up Mermadic Kelp when you are fishing on any of the expansion pack islands.

And as mentioned in the beginning of this post; mermaids are only available for those who own The Sims 4: Island Living. You will not be able to become or encounter mermaids unless you have this expansion pack.

Create a mermaid in the Create A Sim menu

If you want to create a new family, you have the option to make them mermaids from the very start. Mermaids are considered an occult life state in The Sims 4, so you can choose to opt them to be mermaids when you create the sims.

When you have children, each mermaid give a 50 % chance to pass on the mermaid trait to children. So two mermaids will get a mermaid child all the time, while a single mermaid will give the trait to half of the children (on average).

How to become a regular human sim again in The Sims 4: Island Living

If you regret your choice of becoming a mermaid, you have the possibility of turning your sim back into a regular human again. The only way to do this is by finding two Mermadic Kelp and eating them one after another. This will permanently change you back to a human, and you will need a new Mermadic Kelp to become a mermaid again. 

How to leave for work in The Sims 4

Like in the previous The Sims games, you can get a job in The Sims 4. Your sim will leave for work during the time they work, and you will not be able to control them (unless you have the "Get to Work" expansion pack). But how exactly do you leave for work in the Sims 4?

The thing is that it's a bit different from the previous three games in the series. Instead of leaving for work one hour before it starts, you now leave at the exact moment work begins. So if you begin work at 10:00, your sim can do other stuff right up until 10:00 and still not get in trouble for coming in late.

When the exact time when work begins hits, your sim will automatically leave by going into a car that comes to pick you up. If there is some bug or other thing that prevents this from happening, click on your sim and select "Go to work" to manually trigger the response of going to work. This will prompt your sim to leave for work right away.

For the most part, your sim will leave for work on their own, so you won't really have to worry much about it at all. The only thing is that a lot of people are confused because they are used to leaving early like in the previous games.

You should always try to get to work, because missing work will severly reduce your chances of being promoted, and if it happens frequently, you will get fired (unless you have a perk to prevent that from happening).

How to leave for work in The Sims 4: Get To Work expansion pack

Leaving for work in The Sims 4: Get To Work is just the same as in the regular game; basically just wait until the exact moment the work begins, and your sim will be picked up by a car outside the front door.

When your sim leave for work, you will be asked if you want to tag along, or stay at home. If you come along you can do all the features that are only found in the The Sims 4: Get To Work expansion pack.

Tips for getting 20 different fishes (The Sims 4)

The Sims 4 is loaded with different species of fish to catch when you are fishing, and if you want to fulfill your sim's life aspiration of becoming a fisher you will need to eventually catch 20 different fish. This might seem easy considering how often you find new species of fish, but this really stops once you have around 16-18 different species, and all your catches are the same ones you already have.

In order to fish in The Sims 4, you will need to go to a lake or a river and look for a sign post. Interact with this and select "Fish" to begin. This will make your sim fish, and eventually catch fish that will be added to your inventory. You will get skill points in fishing as you do this, and like other skills you go from level 1 (worst) to level 10 (best). The higher your skill is, the more easily you can catch fish, as well as being able to catch rarer and bigger species of fish.

How to fish 20 different species of fish for the Angler aspiration

The most obvious solution is to fish in lots of different locations. Travel to both commercial and non-commercial areas of all the cities you have unlocked (which are 3 if you don't have any expansion packs). Most fish can be caught anywhere, but some of the rare fish can only be found in certain areas. So make sure to spend time in both rivers, lakes, as well as the small ponds in the Desert Oasis park.

In addition, always fish with a bait. Using a large or a medium fish as a bait will give you a much higher chance of fishing up those rare fish that don't really show up very often at all. Keep in mind that the bait will disappear after only a few minutes, and in order to get a new bait, you will need to cancel the fishing activity, then reselect it with a new bait. This is a bit of a hassle, but it's worth to always fish with a bait, because it really makes it much easier to catch rare fish.

Even when you fish in different spots with bait, it might take you a very long time to find 20 different species if you are a bit unlucky. Luckily for us there is another method to getting the angler aspiration done that requires way less luck, so keep reading to find out.

Learn about fish from other sims

A great method to getting all the 20 different fish species is to know that you don't need to catch them. All you need to do is learn about them to get them added to your notebook! The best method for getting them added to your notebook easily is to befriend a few other fishermen and become friends with them. Now start asking and sharing fishing tips with them, and they will eventually reveal information about the rare fish that you haven't caught yet! This method will likely get you the last 2-4 fish species you need information about in just a few minutes, which is extremely fast compared to how long it takes if you were to fish all these up yourself.

The code to open the bathroom door in episode 5 (Life Is Strange)

During the second half part of episode 5 of Life Is Strange, you are locked in the bathroom in the diner, and need to find a 4-digit code in order to get out. There are codes scattered all over all the walls in the bathroom, so how do we find the correct one?

The answer to the puzzle is to look in the mirror. You will quickly realize that the walls are no covered with these codes in the mirror, except for a single one. And this one is the correct one to open the door with.

The code to open the bathroom door in episode 5 of Life Is Strange is: 0311.

Just type that into the lock and the door to the diner will open up.

How to mentor other sims in music skills (The Sims 4)

When pursuing the Musical Genius aspiration in the Sims 4, you will have to mentor other sims in a musical instrument for a total of three hours. This task in itself might not look that difficult, but it can actually be very annoying to get this done if you don't know what exactly you are going to do.

Firstly, in order to mentor another sim you will need to reach level 10 in that skill. For the Musical Genius aspiration you can mentor in either the violin, the piano or the guitar. You only need one of them, so don't bother leveling all three of them to skill level 10.

After you have reached level 10, you need to buy a trait from the aspiration trait store. This cost 1,000 trait points, so you will have to save up a little while to get this. This trait will allow your sim to mentor other sims in any skill where they have level 10 (including all the non-musical skills).

So, now you have the skill and the trait, and the next step is to find somebody who is actually using the instrument. Unfortunately you cannot just click on a sim and mentor them; you need to click on them and select "Mentor" while they are actually using the instrument. This is very rare to come across naturally (they are mostly untouched even in the bars and lounges in the game), but it's super easy if you play a household with two or more sims. Just select one sim to play it, and another to mentor that sim.

But how do you mentor another sim in an instrument if you play a single sim household? The solution is to click on the instrument and select "Hire guitarist/violinist/pianist". This cost 100 money, but will soon get you a player on the instrument. Once this hired help begins playing, click on them and choose "Mentor", and you will begin to get credit towards it. It will only take a single hire to get the "Mentor for 3 hours" aspiration completed.

How to write and license songs (The Sims 4)

When you are working towards completing the level 2 Musical Genius life aspiration in The Sims 4, you will have to both write 4 different songs, as well as earn 500 money from licensing it. So, how do you write and license these songs in The Sims 4?

There are a total of three different skills where you can train your skill points to lisence a song; the piano, the violin, or the guitar. Any of these will do. In order to be able to write a song you will need to reach level 8 in this skill. Once you reach that skill level, simply click on the instrument and select "write", and choose a genre.

Writing a song takes a long time, and it will reset it you cancel it and redo it (in contrast to writing books which will resume from where you left off). In order to be able to finish writing a song, you should make sure that all your needs are at maximum or close to that before beginning to write a song, or else you might have to abort it, and begin from the start again.

When you sucessfully write a song, you can license it. This reuqires you to get level 9 in the instrument that you want to license. But you will get to level 9 just by writing a song anyway, so it's not like this will be a roadblock for anyone. Once you have written a song, just go to your mailbox to license it. After doing this, you will get royalties every day. These are pretty high, and you often get between 100 and 500 money each day.

You can only license a single song each week, so you have to wait until the next week to license a new song. This means that it's impossible to grind a lot of songs and get rich very easily, but you can grind a lot of songs and have a long list to sell, so that you will be able to sell one each week for a long time.

Writing all four songs for the Musical Genius level 2 takes a good while, even if you put the game at full speed. You should aim at filling all your needs, writing a song, licensing it, then filling all your needs, writing another song, and so on. Getting the 500 money from licensing songs seem to only take a few days after you licensed your first song, so don't worry too much about this.

How to fast travel in Wolfenstein Youngblood

Wolfenstein Youngblood is a lot more open than the previous games in the series, and it's absolutely essential to be able to fast travel so that you won't have to spend ages travelling to areas where you can pick up a quest.

Luckily for us, it's rather easy to fast travel in Wolfenstein Youngblood. All you need to do is to locate an orange exit post / door symbol. These are all around the place, so you should not have too much trouble finding one. When you do, interact with it to open the map. This will show you all the available places you can fast travel to, and just select your desired point and click on the Square / X to fast travel.

You can also fast travel back to the main hub, The Catacombs, at any time as long as you are not in combat. All you need to do in order to fast travel back there is to hold down Sqaure on PS4, X on Xbox One or Y on Nintendo Switch, and you are back in the hub. There's also a fast-travel point in the Catabombs, so from there you can go anywhere.

How to open the vault door under the barn (Life Is Strange)

After you complete the barn segment in Life Is Strange, you get to a big vault door beneath the barn. This door requires a 3 digit code to open, and the solution to the puzzle is not always obvious to players.

There are besically two methods to solve this puzzle. If you just want the code, scroll down below these to save yourself the trouble of reading all about it. Anyway, the first way to get the code is to look at the notes from Nathan. These are on the same paper you looked at in the evidence section earlier when trying to figure out his PIN. Anyway, there's only a single 3 digit code among these, so use this to open the vault door. You can find the paper by going to the journal and look at all the documents you have found.

The other method is a bit more brute force based. Basically look at which numbers on the door that has been worn down. You will quickly see that the numbers 2, 4 and 5 have been used a lot more than the others. Now just try every combination of these until you manage to open the door, which should not take too long.

And if you just want the solution; the code is 5-4-2. Type that in and the vault door beneath the barn will open up.

How to open the padlock in the barn (Life Is Strange)

After reaching the barn in Life Is Strange, you will come accross a padlock hidden on the floor at one point, and you will need to find a way to open this. This part is a bit of a puzzle, and here's the solution to opening the padlock in the barn.

First, attach the hook to the padlock. Now head to Chloe, and next to here is a platform that you can climb up on. Go up there, and then pull the engine down to climb to the next level. At the top, go to the other side of the platform to get a photo of the owl (optional), then rewind time to get the engine back up. This allows you to attach the rope to the enigine, where the other part it still attached to the padlock at the main floor.

Once this is done, push the engine down, and the padlock will crack open and reveal a secret door down below the main floor.
