How to get invited to the Brawler's Guild (World of Warcraft: Legion)

Brawler's Guild is finally back for Legion, and to get invited you need a Blood-Soaked Invitation. If you were previously a member, you still need a new invitation for the Legion version, so everyone needs to get one.

The invitation can drop from any elite mob in Sheild's Rest in Stormheim. It has a pretty high drop chance, you you don't really need to farm for it for a long time (around 2 % drop chance per kill). If you are having problems with the mobs, join a group that is farming for invitations from the Dungeon Finder.

There are also other sources for the invitation, such as randomly from mythic+ chests.

How to upgrade legendary items to ilvl 940 (World of Warcraft: Legion)

It is possible to upgrade any legendary item to ilvl 940, and this is done by using an item called Distilled Titan Essence. To get this, you need to pick up the quest Touch of a Titan from Aman'Thul in Dalaran. He will need you to collect 50 x Essence of Aman'Thul. These essences drop from bosses in Nighthold, from Mythic Keystone caches, Emissary bags and the weekly PvP quests. There is no cap on how many you can get weekly, so do all of these to get as many as possible.

Once you have 50 essences, head back to Dalaran to turn it in, and use the item on the desired legendary to upgrade it to ilvl 940 permanently.

How to farm Tabula Rasa (Path of Exile)

Tabula Rasa is a very powerful chest armour in Path of Exile, especially when leveling a new character or trying out new builds. This chest will always have 6 linked sockets in which you can use any combination of colored gems, so you can try out new builds very easily with this chest.

Farming for the Tabula Rasa is actually pretty doable compared to most other items, and this is because it can be traded in for 9 X Humility Divination Cards. These cards can drop from The Aqueduct in Act 4 or The Blood Aqueducts in Act 9, so these can even be farmed at low levels, as long as you have unlocked Act 4.

When farming for Tabula Rasa, you want to clear The Blood Aqueduct as fast as possible, and aim to clear the entire instance in about one minute. You want to run in a straight line, and don't go left or right at intersections. This will take you from the entry to the hub area to the waypoint as fast as possible. Kill as many enemies as possible along the way, and pick up all the cards that drop. A good loot filter is needed for this, so you don't have to backtrack to pick up worthless items due to a sound notification.

If you've progressed into maps you could also farm the Channel map. This has a higher drop chance for the cards, but it can be a bit tricky to farm efficiently at the start of a new league.

By clearing it in around a minute, you can expect to get all 9 cards required within 1-3 hours, and 2 hours is a pretty decent benchmark for the chest armour. The item will usually sell for around 20 chaos orbs in Standard League, but can also be vendored for 1 x Divine Orb, which can be worth a lot as well, so this is a fairly profitable farming tactic if you want some currency quickly.

Farming for this item is especially nice at the beginning of leagues when a lot of people want to buy it to use for leveling. This can be a good way to get your hands on some currency the first few days of a league.

How to get a Map Device in your hideout (Path of Exile)

You can do maps from the Eternal Laboratory, but to really get into maps you want to have a Map Device in your own Hideout. Luckily, this is pretty easy to obtain, and can be gotten once you have encounter the Master named Zana in a map. She will offer you a mission, and upon completing this, you can invite her to your hideout. This will let you place a Map Device in your hideout, which you can freely use at any time.

Finding Zana in a map is completely random, just like any of the other Master. Therefore you simply need to keep running maps until you find her in one, and once you do, make sure to complete her mission within the (potential) time limit.

How to unlock and get maps (Path of Exile)

Maps are the main end-game mode in Path of Exile, and unlocking them are fairly easy. What you need to do is the main quest until you complete the quests offered by Lady Dialla on Merciless difficulty, which will unlock an area named The Eternal Laboratory. In this area, the map device is located, and you can insert any map into it to get portals to it.

Map drops from any level 68+ mobs in the game, and the drops are completely random like everything else that can drop. You can only get tier 1 maps from story-mode mobs, so you need to venture into the maps to get higher tier maps. You can also buy maps from poe.trade or from trade channel to get going.

The Tier 1 maps are level 68, so you should be around that level before you attempt to begin them. I would personally say that the low tier maps are far easier than Act 4 on Merciless difficulty.

Once you start doing maps, finding the Master named Zana and completing her mission will allow you to get a map device in your own hideout, eliminating the need to travel to the Eternal Laboratory every time you want to map.

How to get Shaped Maps (Path of Exile)

Shaped Maps are upgraded versions of regular maps on the Atlas in Path of Exile, and a shaped map will always be 5 levels higher than the original. In order to shape a map you need to find a Shaper's Orb. These will drop upon completing the bonus objective on specific maps, starting at level 6. In the cast of the level 6 one, a Shaper's Orb will drop when doing the bonus objective in the Spider Forest Map. You can see all the maps that drops these by going to the Atlas and look for map areas with a big blue circle around them.

The Shaper's Orb will only drop the first time you complete the bonus objective, and there is one Shaper's Orb for all the tiers. Base level tier 1 - 7 had one Shaper's Orb each, tier 8 got 2, while tier 9 and 10 has 3 Shaper's Orb each.

Each Shaper's Orb can only be used on one map, so you have to pick which you you prefer. If you for example pick Jungle Valley for tier 1, you cannot get a Shaper's Orb to upgrade the other 3 tier 1 maps. However, you can trade 5x Orb of Regret + 20x Cartographer's Chisel to get an Unshaping Orb, which lets you switch which map to shape. This is pretty expensive, you it is better to pick the one you want to begin with.

Once you have shaped a map, a shaped version of the map can drop from appropriate tier maps, so when you shape a tier 1 map into tier 6, the shaped version of the map can drop from level 4-6 maps and above. However, if you have any remaining tier 1 versions of the maps, these will take you to the regular unshaped map.

How to get Shadowmere (Skyrim)

Shadowmere is arguably the best horse in Skyrim, and to get him you need to join the Dark Brotherhood. You have to keep doing the Dark Brotherhood quest chain until you get the quest "The Cure for Madness". This quest will let you borrow Shadowmere, but after completing it, you get to keep him forever. Like other horses he will follow you when you fast-travel, and will do so permanently unless he is killed.

How to get Shadowmere back if he dies

If Shadowmere dies, you can get him back by waiting for one month. After a whole month has passed, he will simply respawn in the area where he died, ready to be used again.

The fastest way to do this is to wait for 24 hours 30 times. This will take about 10 minutes, but you will get your horse back by doing it.

How to get Headhunter (Path of Exile)

Headhunter is probably the best belt for most setups in Path of Exile, but getting your hands on one of these belts are very difficult. The reason people want this belt is because of its unique effect: "When you Kill a Rare monster, you gain its mods for 20 seconds", which is very powerful!

The problem with Headhunter is that it can only drop in areas that are affected by the Nemesis Mod, and apart from Nemesis Leagues, the only way for this to happen is by having Zana at level 7, and spending 8 Chaos Orbs to activate the Nemesis Mod on a map. Once that is done, any mob in that area can drop the Headhunter belt, but it is extremely rare!

However, you can also use Orb of Chance to get a Headhunter, and most of the belts are actually "created" this way. You can use Orb of Chance on any Leather Belt in order to get Headhunter, but you must do this in an area with the Nemesis Mod. This basically means another 8 Chaos Orbs to Zana, and bring as many Orbs of Chance and Leather Belts as possible. Again, it is extremely rare, so be prepared to spend a few thousand Leather Belts and Orb of Chances.

A third way to get it, is by trading Divination Cards. You can trade 8 of The Doctor for the belt (can be farmed in Spider Forest Map), but these cards are also extremely rare and expensive. 11 of The Fiend will get you a corrupted Headhunter (can be farmed in Shrine map), but these cards are also very rare. Also other cards like The Valkyrie and Jack in the Box can give you Headhunter, but this is very rare.

As with any other items, you can buy Headhunter from other players. There are usually many for sale at Poe.trade, but they are very expensive!

During the Legacy League, you can chance and find Headhunter in any area that is affected by the Nemesis Leaguestone

All items you should pick up and use Orb of Chance on (Path of Exile)

Orb of Chance lets you upgrade a white item into an item of random quality, including very rare Unique items. There are a few items that you should always pick up and use one Orb of Chance on, because they have a high chance to give you a very valuable Unique.

Getting the Unique item is extremely rare, but if you ever get it, you will get an extreme amount of currency, so this gamble usually pays off once you get your first good Unique item from doing it.

Here are all the items you should use Orb of Chance on:
Sorcerer's Boosts -> Skyforth.
Occultist's Vestment  -> Shavronne's Wrappings
Glorious Plate -> Kaom's Heart
Assassin's Garb -> Cospri's Will
Jewelled Foil -> Cospris's Malice

Note that the name on the left is the white items you want to pick up, and the same on the right are the Unique items you want to get by chancing them.

The Sorcerer's Boots are the ones that are worth the most if you get Skyforth, so if you only have a limited amount of Orbs of Chance, use them on these boots!

How to create your own hideout (Path of Exile)

All characters can get their own hideout in Path of Exile, and getting one is actually pretty easy. The only requirement to get one is to have one of the masters at level 3, which you should get fairly soon once you start playing.

To get a master to level 3+, just do their missions each time you encounter them in the wild. Each mission will award a certain amount of experience points to their level, and getting to level 3 should not take too many missions.

Most of the masters can be found randomly in any of the areas in the game, so just keep playing to find them. Just make sure to do their mission once you find them!

Once you've got a master to level 3, go to the hub they are located in, and you will get the dialogue option to create a hideout. This is completely free, and once you have created it, you can teleport there by typing /hideout.

Each master has their own hideout layout, and once they are level 3, you can freely change between any layout. It is free to change the layout, but you will need to put all the items in their place again if you switch the layout.

How to get +20% quality gems (Path of Exile)

A lot of skill gems are much better once they have +20% quality, and there are a few ways to get your skill gems to 20 % quality. You can firstly be extremely lucky and find a 20% quality version of the gem you are using, but most people need to use one of the following methods:

1) Use Gemcutter's Prism to level it up. Each Gemcutter's Prism increases the quality by 1%, so you will need a total of 20 of these for each gem. This currency is very expensive, so getting 20 % quality gems by this means is pretty expensive.

2) A cheaper alternative is to use the vendor recipe that gives you a 20 % quality gem. For this you need a level 20 gem, so you need to level it all the way up to 20 to get this recipe. Sell this gem to a vendor along with 1 Gemcutter's Prism, and you get a level 1 version of the gem that is +20% quality. This is much cheaper, but the downside is that you need to relevel the gem to 20 again to get a full effect from it.

How to buy skill gems (Path of Exile)

Many people are under the impression that you need to find skill gems from monsters or chests in Path of Exile, but as a matter of fact, most of them can be bought from NPCs in the game. In order to be able to buy them you need to have completed a certain quest, but once you have completed all quests in normal difficulty, you can buy all the skill gems you need.

Some gems are only sold by certain classes, so you cannot buy every single gem from a single character. To get the other gems you either need to level up another class, or buy the gem from another person. An easy tool to use for this is poe.trade. Just search for the gem you need, and whisper the player to buy it.

To buy skill gems, go to any major hub and purchase items from the vendors there. Some of them will have a second page of items for sale, and this is where the skill gems are located. Note that the supply is different in all acts, so make sure to check out all the different hubs to find all the skill gems you can buy.

The skill gems are typically very cheap, only costing some low-end currency like Orb of Alteration.
