How to beat King Boo in Luigi’s Mansion 3

King Boo is a boss in Luigi’s Mansion 3, and you have to fight him at the top of the hotel. The fight itself is divided into 3 different phases, and we'll naturally begin with phase 1.

How to beat King Boo in phase 1

At the start of the fight, there is only a single version of King Boo, and what you need to do is avoiding his fireball and tongue attacks until the point where he throws a spiky ball towards you. When this hits the ground, it will let out a few bombs, and these can be picked up by your Poltergust. Now you must quickly aim this at King Boos mouth before the bomb explore. It can be a bit tricky to get the timing right, but you will eventually get the hang of it.

If you manage to get the bomb into King Boos mouth, he will be stunned. This will allow you to get up to his tongue and pull it. You need to use both Luigi and Gooigi to manage to throw him and cause damage to him.

How to beat King Boo in phase 2

For the 2nd phase of the King Boo fight in Luigi’s Mansion 3, he will double himself so that you are fighting two versions of King Boo at the same time. The fight it actually a lot of the same, but it's obviously a lot more challenging to dodge the attacks since there are two versions that uses them. Again wait for the spiky ball that throws out bombs, and throw these at King Boo. Make sure to aim towards the real King Boo and not the copy, since only the real King Boo will be able to be stunned. You can tell them apart by the eyes; the real King Boo has purple eyes. When you hit him, grab his tongue and throw him around to damage him.

How to beat King Boo in phase 3

For the third and final phase you will need to deal with three King Boos - two copies and one real. During this phase, you will have a timer where you have 4 minutes to beat him, but this should not be that much of a problem really. The fight is still pretty much he same, so dodge all the attacks from all three King Boos and wait for a spiky ball that gives you access to throw bombs at the real King Boo. Once you stun him and throw him, you will win the fight! Good luck.
