How to turn off raids permanently (Minecraft)

Minecraft raids were added in the new Village & Pillage Update, and a lot of players feel that they are incredibly difficult, especially early on in the game. If you have to actually defend your village against a full raid, then you will need to have decent equipment.

For this reason, a lot of players want to disable raids until they feel more comfortable with them. This allow you to build defenses and equipment at your own pace, and then turn on the raids again once you feel ready for it.

Luckily for us it's pretty easy to disable the raiding of villages, as long as you play on PC. All you need to do is to open the console and type the following:

/gamerule disableRaids true

And that's it. Click on enter, and you won't get a raid until you go back to the console and write the following:

/gamerule disableRaids false

And they're back on.

It's pretty easy to turn the raids on and off, so you can enjoy the game at your own pace. When the raids are turned off, the village won't be raided even if you enter a village with the Bad Omen effect.
