The new Magic skill is a big part of the new game pack for The Sims 4: Realm of Magic. There are many different spells to master, and you can level the Magic skill just like any other skill in the game. However, you do need to unlock Magic before you will be able to cast spells and level it up.
So, how do we learn Magic in the Sims 4: Realm of Magic? Firstly you need need to travel to the Realm of Magic. This is done by going to the Watch lot in Glimmerbrook and enter the portal next to the waterfall behind the lot. When you are in the Realm of Magic, look for any of the three Sages in the Realm of Magic. Introduce yourself and ask them to make you a Spellcaster, but they will tell you to collect 7 Motes before they will allow you to become one.
The 7 Motes are very easily found in the Magic Realm. They look like glowing balls, and they are all found in very close proximity to the sages. So pick up all 7 and speak with the sages again. When you do this, they will officially turn you into a Spellcaster!
Once you have done this, you can use magic at any point in the game, even if you leave the Realm of Magic. The Magic Skill can be level up to a total Skill Level of 10 just like any other Skill in The Sims 4, so you need to level it up before you can use all the different spells in the game.
Anyway, to use a spell / magic, click on your Sim and select the Magic option. This will give you all the different magic things you can do, which is not that much at level 1, but will soon be much more interesting after you level it up a few times.
