How to fix the CE-34878-0 error in Apex Legends (PS4)

The CE-34878-0 error in Apex Legends is an annoying one. Not only is it responsible for freezing the entire game, it also typically causes a crash shortly after, so you have to reboot the entire game. This bug is unique to the PlayStation 4 version of Apex Legends, and even though Sony tried to fix it in the past, it is still popping up from time to time.

If you are one of the people who are getting the CE-34878-0 error every once in a while, fear not, there's actually a pretty simple solution for fixing the CE-34878-0 error in Apex Legends.

What you need to do is to open the game, then head to settings. Uncheck the box that says "Convert Incoming Voice to Text Chat". Now save the settings, and you are done.

No one outside of Sony or the developers of Apex Legends really knows why this fixes the CE-34878-0 error, but it does. So after you have turned this feature off, you will no longer get the bug.
