How to automatically harvest Fish Traps (Forager)

The Fish Traps in Forager are used for getting Fish, Sand and Seaweed, and well as dropping biome-specific Archaeological Artifacts. This means that you will want to get the Archaeology Artifacts from each biome if you want to finish the bundles, so you are going to be spending a lot of time harvesting all the Fish Traps.

So, wouldn't it be great if you could automate this task? There is a method to automatically harvest the Fish Traps, and this requires one Droid per set of Fish Trap (or just a single one if you intend to do one biome at a time). Basically the Droids will harvest the Fish Traps as soon at it is ready, so all the loot from it goes automatically into your inventory. You can either keep the Droid as your personal assistant that will follow your around, or set it to be tied to a certain area. In the latter case, the Droid will run around and loot everything in about one screen worth of radius, so make sure to stack all your Fish Traps in this area.

Droids are pretty expensive to create, so it's entirely possible to get all the Archaeological Artifacts with only a single Droid. This easiest way to do this is to place a lot of Fish Traps in a small area within the biome you want to farm, then AFK for a few minutes while the Droid loots every catch. It usually won't take too long before you get the Artifact (if you have at least 10+ Fish Traps).

When you have the Archaeological Artifact, simply destroy all the Fish Traps and rebuild them in the next biome, then AFK for a few more minutes while the Droid does all the work for you.

And that's how you automate the harvesting of Fish Traps in Forager!
